A spate of incidents that have forced closure of the A9 Kessock Bridge has thrown the spotlight on the importance of tackling mental health issues.
That's the view of a man currently making his way through the Highlands in his trademark Speedo swim pants to raise thousands of pounds for causes tackling mental ill health and supporting suicide prevention.
Michael Cullen (57), better known to many as Speedo Mick, made his remarks today as he continued his bone-chilling walk in icy gusts across Ross-shire, heading from Skiach Services to North Kessock.
Referring to two closures of the A9 link bridge within the last week, he said the issue highlighted the need for more support.
