Funeral for young truck driver who died on A9 to take place in Nairn
The funeral of a young man who tragically died on the A9 will take place on April 4.
Truck driver, Jamie Noble (30) was killed in a road traffic accident while 'doing the job he loved.'
In an announcement by David M Ellen Funeral Directors, Jamie was described as a 'beloved fiance' and a 'proud and adored father' of Daniel.
The notice read: "Jamie Noble of Moss-side Brae, Nairn, aged 30 years, beloved fiance of Morven, a proud and adored father of Daniel, a much loved son of Angela and James and stepson of Linda and Simon, a dear brother of Becca, Thurston, Annie and Tommy, a devoted grandson, a cherished son in law, nephew and a sadly missed relative, colleague and friend to many."
His funeral service will take place at Nairn Old Parish Church on Thursday, April 4 at 1.00pm thereafter to Nairn Cemetery.
The notice said: "All friends respectfully invited. Wearing a splash of colour, if desired, would be appreciated. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, may be given at the service to MFR Cash for Kids."
A fundraiser launched to support Jamie's family has now reached over £9000.
