A fundraiser has been launched to support the family of a man who tragically died in a road accident earlier this week.

Described as a much-loved fiancé and an amazing father, Jamie Noble (30) was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident on the A9 on Tuesday morning.

A JustGiving page has now been set up to raise funds to help Jamie's family.

Organised by his friend Robert Maclean, he said: "With great sadness l write this. Our friend and work mate Jamie Noble was involved in a tragic accident on March 12 while at work doing a job he loved, driving a lorry.

"Sadly Jamie lost his life. Myself and Jamie's friends are trying to raise a bit of money to help Jamie's partner Morven and his little boy Daniel just to make things bit easier at this very difficult time."
