To help reduce social isolation Inverness-based Clarity Walk is planning lots of social events to help bring the community together to chat, connect and make new friends.

Founder Matt Wallace said while the charity had made an impact with the group's walks to reduce isolation it now wanted to help members and the wider community to connect outwith the walks.

He said: "To start we have our pub quiz on Friday October 22 to help bring people together in a fun, welcoming setting to test people's knowledge whilst connecting them.

"People can come as a team, turn up and join a team or create a team on the night.

"No pressure and it's playing for the Clarity Walk trophy. There will also be tray bakes and a raffle. This event is free."
