BREAKING: Police and other emergency services in 4-hour stand-off at Inverness home

Police and other emergency services are present at a property in the South Kessock area of Inverness after an overnight incident.

Reports of a disturbance at the city’s Mill Court were made sometime after 3 am with officers still in attendance.

The nature of the incident is not yet known.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We have been in attendance at Mill Court in Inverness during an ongoing police incident where we are standing by to offer assistance.

“We got the call to assist at 3.39 am and one appliance from Inverness is at the address. We are still awaiting a stop message.”

Police Scotland have been asked for details of the incident.
