Escobar on Queensgate in Inverness is currently on fire.

A witness at the scene said: "The ground floor is on fire, and there is a lot of smoke coming from the area."

There are currently two fire appliances at the scene and Academy Street has been closed off.

UPDATE: The fire is now under control, but residents who live above the restaurant are still not able to go back into their homes.
