Hospitality venues and staff were recognised at an awards ceremony in Inverness this evening.
The Inverness Best Bar None Awards took place at the Mercure Hotel with representatives of 21 city premises attending.
The Highlander won the award for innovation and social responsibility, best newcomer went to Blackfriars and the heart of the community award was given to The Chieftain.
Best Bar None (BBN), has been a feature within the Inverness hospitality sector since 2006 to recognise the contribution made by venues in the promotion of high standards and professionalism.
The awards event was organised by Don Lawson, proprieter of Johnny Foxes and chairman of Inverness Pub Watch in conjunction with Inverness BID.
Mr Lawson said: “BBN is not voted by the public. It’s about standards of service, hospitality and customer care and meeting and exceeding the licensing objectives. The fact many premises are operating at a high level over years shows the strength and dedication of our hospitality trade.”
