Earlier this week Belladrum announced it would be bringing back car park passes for next year's festival that would cost £12, bookable in advance, to help prevent traffic delays.

So what do you all think about it – we asked our Courier Facebook audience.

We asked: Do you think it is a good idea that Belladrum have introduced a £12 parking fee for 2024 to try and alleviate traffic chaos?

Those who agree made 30 per cent of the vote, while just over two-thirds more of you said no – at 70 per cent.

It's not a resounding thumbs-up from the public.

Is the idea itself not strong enough?

Is it the extra cost people are not welcoming?

Or do they think the move is not going to make enough difference?

But the parking passes plan is the first step organisers have taken since Belladrum finished for this year to try to avoid the long traffic delays people experienced on the Thursday, the first day of the three-day festival.

A debrief meeting is due to be held soon between Belladrum and the relevant agencies. Measures impacting traffic for next year may well follow that in the weeks to come.
