Ardersier Folk Club set to welcome special guests tonight

Two award-winning musicians will perform tonight in Ardersier.

Tom McConville and Michael Biggins – both winners of the BBC Folk Musician Of The Year and BBC Scottish Trad Musician of the Year award – will play at Wendy’s Café at 7.30pm tonight in partnership with Ardersier Folk Club.

An Ardersier Folk Club spokesperson said: “The sum of the two talents, combined with Tom’s rich singing, is astounding and has left their audiences spellbound.

“Tom‘s fiddle and Michael’s piano and accordion playing is amongst the finest there is, powerful and exciting with a range of songs performed in great style.

“They have a range of music including Irish, Scottish, Bluegrass and Jazz and songs all performed with a great sense of style, verve and humour!”

Tickets are £10 and will be available at the door or online at www.ardersierfolkclub.org.uk
