A9 slip road at Raigmore Interchange closed by traffic incident

A ROAD traffic incident on a slip road to Raigmore Interchange at Inverness is causing traffic delays.

• UPDATE: A9 slip road open after accident

The incident happened on the south bound slip road from the A9 to the Interchange about 3pm.

A car could be seen blocking the slip road at one stage while police controlled traffic on the busy junction.

There have been no reports of any injuries and Scottish Fire and Rescue at Inverness were not called to the scene.
