UPDATE: A9 slip road open after accident

A slip road to Raigmore Interchange off the A9 in Inverness has been reopened following an accident.

Police had blocked the lane following an accident at around 2.50pm this afternoon.

A police spokesman said: "Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A9 near to the Raigmore Interchange, Inverness.

"There were no reports of anyone injured.

"Recovery was arranged for the vehicles."

A Traffic Scotland spokesman said: "All lanes now running southbound just south of the Kessock Bridge on the approach to the Raigmore Interchange following an earlier collision.

"Traffic beginning to ease on the approach."
