1 A WORLD premiere ballet production continues its run at Eden Court this weekend.
Following on from Thursday’s premiere, Scottish Ballet’s Spring! double bill – Elite Syncopations and the premiere of Dextera – will be performed at the Inverness theatre on Friday and Saturday.

2 FINDHORN will be dancing to a very specific tune this weekend when the Pied Piper comes to town.
The adaptation of the classic fairytale by Norwich Puppet Theatre comes to the Universal Hall on Saturday at 2pm, offering a mixture of puppetry, music and storytelling suitable for ages 3-7 (and their adults).

3 AFTER 50 years, UFO frontman Phil Mogg is calling time on his participation with the legendary rock band with one final tour.
The group’s sole remaining original member will bring UFO to the Ironworks on Saturday night as part of their Last Orders tour, giving Highland crowds one last chance to see the rockers.

4 DYNAMIC Orkney trad duo Saltfishforty are set to return to the mainland to play the latest in Fochabers’ Arc Sessions series this weekend.
The pair – fiddler Douglas Montgomery and guitarist Brian Cromarty (below) – come to the Moray village’s Public Institute on Saturday night with their blend of classic Orcadian music and original compositions.

5 FOR those about to rock, Eden Court salutes you – as the performance event Highland Rock Challenge returns.
Touring for its 24th consecutive year, the Rock Challenge and J Rock tour comes to the Inverness theatre from next Monday to Wednesday.
The events – which across the country feature more than 320 schools – see young people involved in every aspect of the performance, from set construction and choreography to hair and make-up.

6 AWARD-winning vocal/guitar duo Josie Duncan and Pablo Lafuente bring centuries of Scotland’s traditional music to life at Lyth Arts Centre next week.
The duo – winners of 2017’s BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award – will play the Caithness venue on Tuesday night.
