RISING Moray singer/songwriter Calum Jones is set for his biggest headline show yet when he takes to the Ironworks stage this summer.
Fresh from his appearance at the Red Hot Highland Fling Hogmanay celebrations, the Oran-raised artist comes to the Inverness venue on Friday 14 June.
Joining him will be Glasgow-based indie rock four-piece Chris Greig and the Merchants, along with local support from The Citrus Scene.
Calum’s debut album gained airplay from Jo Whiley on BBC Radio2, was featured in The Scotsman, The Sun and on STV.
His charity singles and fundraising concerts have raised more than £4,000 for his favourite charities.
2018 was a hugely successful year with the release of his first Scottish Folk EP, continued with the release of his second mixed genre album and ended in a flurry of December gigs – with him showcasing at the Ironworks, performing to more than 10,000 at the Red Hot Highland Fling and supporting Skerryvore on three nights of their Winter With Friends Tour.
2019 is looking to be equally exciting with a third album already in the making and numerous festival slots confirmed across the UK.
Donations will be made from ticket and merchandise sales to Logan’s Fund, Friends of Chernobyl's Children, and MFR Cash for Kids.
