YOU’VE just one chance to catch the Metallica film everyone is talking about - tonight (Tuesday) only at 8.30pm in Vue Inverness.
Metallica: Through the Never 3D shares its name with the song Through The Never from the band’s 1991 self-titles, later, Black album.
Though there is plenty of concert footage from a series of gigs in August last year, a storyline also follows young roadie Trip (Dane DeHaan) and his surreal mission to go and pick up something for the band – a rucksack left in a truck that’s run out of fuel.
Trip sets off with a jerry can in his old van through empty city streets, until he’s hit by a speeding car and finds himself in a riot.
The leader of the riot, a masked horseman with a giant mallet, is taking no prisoners.
And Trip has to fight back.
DeHaan will be playing Peter Parker’s friend Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, while Metallica have announced they will be working on a new album for release in 2015.
