ASPIRING DJ talent from across the north are set to converge on Mad Hatters, Inverness this Friday – with a coveted slot at dance festival Shenanigan up for grabs.

The Shenanigan DJ battle will feature eight people going head to head on the decks for a chance to perform at the festival’s Audiolife stage when it returns to Wildwoodz on August 30-31.

Taking part in this year’s battle are Aron Wright, Cammy Harper, Cougar Macdougall, DJ V, Innes Gee, Kev Thompson, Robbie Mackay and Shaun Thomson. There will also be sets from the Shenanigan resident DJs throughout.

On the night there will also be a raffle and collections for Clic Sargent.

Shenanigan organiser Matt Lyon said: “The aim of the night is to help expose fresh and emerging talent from across the Highlands and Islands and give all finalists an opportunity to showcase their skills.”

The night starts at 8pm and entry is free. For more info, go to www.shenaniganinverness.com
