There are a number of major productions and West End hits in Eden Court’s programme of live events for the autumn and winter.
It is the theatre’s first full-print brochure in more than two years with the Empire and OneTouch Theatres open to full capacity.
Cultural highlights from drama, dance, music, opera and comedy will bring a broad range of internationally acclaimed talent to the Highlands.
Theatrical productions include: SIX, Burn, Pride & Prejudice* (*Sort of), this year’s brand new pantomime Peter Pan and the 70th anniversary of The Mousetrap.
An audacious new show from Alan Cumming is one of the many brilliant options available to Inverness audiences for a night out at the theatre.
Comedy mavericks making the trip north this year include Jack Dee, Jason Manford and Jimeon. Family audiences are well-served with David Walliam’s The Demon Dentist, family favourite The Snow Queen and Around the World in 80 Days is a thrilling new production from highly skilled circus performers.
Scotland’s national companies are well-served, with Scottish Ballet’s COPPELIA, Scottish Opera’s The Verdi Collection and the RSNO’s Viennese Gala. From the National Theatre of Scotland, James IV – Queen of the Fight sees Blythe Duff and Daniel Cahill return to the absorbing James plays saga.
Music highlights include national institutions Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham; Eddi Reader celebrates her 40th year on stage; Kathryn Joseph, Jeffrey Lewis and comedian Josie Long prepare Tae Sup wi’ a Fifer; and Paul Jones and Dave Kelly are an acoustic duo that true blues fans won’t want to miss.
Eden Court will also play host to some brilliant speakers, with special events on stage including internationally acclaimed Outlander-author Diana Gabaldon; conservationist and presenter Saba Douglas-Hamilton; and the world’s greatest living explorer, Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
