MAY is the month for music at St Leonard’s Church in Forres.

The High Street church’s newly-appointed organist, Angus Hull, will be performing a selection of his favourite tunes there on Saturday night at a concert entitled ‘Music for a May Evening’.

He will joined by some musical acquaintances, including the all-female Forres acapella group, ‘Too Many Kooks’.

Tea and home bakes will be served afterwards.

The show begins at 7pm. Some early tickets referred to a start time of 7.30pm, and the organisers have asked the ‘Gazette’ to point out this error.

Tickets will be available on the door. For further information, contact Mr Hull on 01343 811009 or e-mail angus_hull@live.co.uk
