TICKETS are still available for one date of Jack Dee’s tour of work-in-progress material around the Highlands.

The UK comedy icon, famous for his dour demeanour, is testing out some of his new sardonic stand up across the north before a theatre tour later this year.

And while tickets have sold out for most of the shows, there are still a few available for his Macphail Centre show in Ullapool on Monday.

Jack last toured a stand-up show in 2012, playing to sold out audiences the length and breadth of the country over a period of 18 months.

Since then, he has appeared in two series of ITV sitcom Bad Move, three series of BBC sitcom Josh, and Channel 4’s Power Monkeys, while continuing his hosting duties of BBC Radio 4’s I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue.

He also had a stage show, Jack Dee’s Helpdesk, that saw him and a panel of special guests shedding light on an array of the audience’s personal problems, dilemmas and issues with nothing pre-planned.

Tickets for the Macphail Centre show cost £17 and the performance begins at 7.30pm – go to www.beyondhighlands.com
