Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival hits the road with emerging acts showcase at Wick, Inverness and Aviemore featuring rising stars Liimo and Tamzene

BELLADRUM Tartan Heart Festival is leaving the confines of the estate and hitting the road in May for a string of mini-showcases.
The Highlands’ biggest festival launches its first Belladrum on the Road tour, featuring two rising acts – Edinburgh/London pop trio Liimo and the Highland’s own soul pop artist Tamzene.
Tamzene is a singer, writer and multi-instrumentalist from the coastal town of Cromarty in the Scottish Highlands. Her latest single released in December of 2018, ‘Last Song’ featured on 8 Spotify curated playlists including the influential New Music Friday in the UK, USA and Sweden.
With their name an abbreviation of “little more”, Liimo dropped their debut single Pineapple Radio in December 2018, with follow up Get Weird released at the end of last month.
Festival founder Joe Gibbs said: “We are looking forward to our very first Belladrum on the Road tour and what better way to launch this than with our very own Tamzene alongside another incredible brand-new buzz act Liimo.”
The shows will give audiences a taste of what will come at this year’s Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, taking place from Thursday, August 1 to Saturday, August 3. The festival recently celebrated selling out once again.
Belladrum on the Road featuring Liimo and Tamzene comes to the Blackstairs Lounge, Wick on Friday, May 25; The Tooth and Claw, Inverness on Saturday, May 26; and the Old Bridge Inn, Aviemore on Sunday, May 27.
