1 Get caught up in The Mousetrap
Can you solve the Agatha Christie plot at the heart of The Mousetrap, the longest-running mystery in theatre? There's still time, as the classic play on its 70th anniversary tour is on at Eden Court until Saturday starring EastEnder Todd Carty (pictured). The famous whodunnit has somehow managed to keep secret who the murderer is all that time, despite playing for all those years in London's West End. And as the production blurb claims 'This thrilling West End production is THE genre-defining murder mystery from the best-selling novelist of all time… case closed!' Seven strangers find themselves snowed in at a remote countryside guesthouse. When a police sergeant arrives, the guests discover – to their horror – that a killer is in their midst! 2 Dance with Karawane
Back for a third event The Karawane Takeover one-of-a-kind experience returns to Eden Court's OneTouch Theatre on Saturday, June 10 from 7pm for five hours for a 16+ audience with special guests The Latina Turners, a nine-piece salsa and Afro-Caribbean band. They showcase music from Los Van Van, Poncho Sánchez, Cuban All-Stars, Joe Arroyo, Buenavista Social Club and many more. The Karawane DJs will be crossing the continents musically, from the dancefloors of Sao Paulo to Soweto, Bamako to Bogota, with Afro-Latin-Brazilian world music. Also added into the mix will be the Karawane drummers. As they always say, all are welcome, no dress code – and expect to dance.
3 Keeping the laughs real
On Sunday, June 11 from 8pm at Eden Court for a 16+ audience. Gary Meikle 2.5 is the comedian's latest show. He says to expect swearing, crude, edgy. But, he says, "As a kid growing up in the care system I was told that I’d be either dead or in jail by the time I was 30, so I tend to do things my way." His subjects will be his girls"... and me, as well as life observations on things like, new laws on unsolicited di** pics, how equality between the sexes has a clear definitive line, all medication side effects, my loathing of stupid questions, how our ancestors were idiots and much much more. I’m going to remain to be playfully dark and as always do what I do best which is to be relateable, honest and give you an insight to what its like to be me, a young single grandad who’s passionate about making his audience laugh and then be available for hugs at the end if anyone needs or wants one."
4 Fleabag before TV stardom ...
A wee bit of notice that National Theatre Live: Fleabag (15) is coming to Eden Court from Thursday, June 15 to 25 (various times) – the award-winning play that inspired the BBC series Fleabag. It was filmed live on stage in London’s West End in 2019 and is written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve). For anyone who hasn't seen Fleabag, she may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered and self-obsessed, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose.

5 Film premiere moments
The Greatest Days Live Preview Event (12A) is broadcasting live to the big screen from the London premiere on Thursday, June 15, at 8pm so you can go along to Vue Inverness to watch a performance from Take That, as well as all of the action from the red carpet, for the world premiere of feelgood comedy Greatest Days. The film – which screens from Friday, June 16 – stars Aisling Bea and opens in Vue Cinema that day at 3pm and 7.30pm and on the first day at Eden Court, 5.45pm and 8.15pm. Five best friends have the night of their lives seeing their favourite boy band in concert, then five years later their lives have changed in many different ways as they reunite for one more epic show.
