Inverness Tennis and Squash Club women's team become champions of Scotland

Inverness have become the first ever Highland winners of the women's Scottish Squash National League.

Inverness Tennis and Squash Club have been crowned champions of Scotland 2023 after becoming the first ever Highland team to win the Scottish Squash National League.

Needing 14 points from their final matches against Glasgow's Western Health and Rackets Club and Edinburgh Squash Club, another exceptional performance got Inverness Tennis and Squash Club over the line.

Led by Commonwealth Games gold medallist Donna Lobban, the Inverness outfit had seemed like the title favourites for a while, and they were delighted to seal the triumph.

As a result of their national triumph, Inverness Tennis and Squash Club can now look forward to the European Club Championships in Paderborn, Germany in September.
