Woman named tri-athlete of the year at Inverness Triathlon Club

Samantha Macleod has been named club Tri-athlete of the Year at Inverness Triathlon Club.

She received the top award for her outstanding performance at the Celtman Triathlon.

She was honoured to receive the award saying: “Everyone in the club has worked so hard this last year. It was great to be chosen for the award.”

Most improved athlete of the year went to Trina Stirling. Ann Tilbury, David Tilbury and Andrea Vieth were awarded Special contribution to the club awards. Best attitude award went to Sharon Meek with Katie Meek receiving the most promising junior award. George Reid won the Legend of the Year award.
