The conclusion of the top knockout competition in the Innes Bar Inverness Winter Darts League will take place on April 7 with a venue still to be announced.

Taking part in the final will be the defending champions Portland A, going for their 15th title, and East End Arrows, which is a repeat of the 2019 final where Portland romped to a 7–1 victory.

East End Arrows have steadily improved over the years and have considerably narrowed the gap between the two sides and as in any cup final both teams have an equal chance of victory, albeit pundits would err on the side of the Portland to retain their championship.

Portland gained their spot in the final with a 10–2 victory over B League side Smithton Hotel whilst their opponents in the final took out the Seaforth Club from Nairn by a 7–5 scoreline.

Meanwhile in the quarter finals of the Consolation Trophy, Raigmore defeated Keppoch Belles 7–5 while Innes X put paid to Thistle B’s chances with a 9–3 victory, the winning side’s Wayne Ridgers hitting a 14-dart leg.

Still Game received a bye to the last eight and Canteen had a 12–0 walkover against Chieftain Storm who could not raise a team.

The semi finals will take place on the same date as the Supreme Cup final and are Raigmore v Innes X and Still Game v Canteen.

Maximums: Jamie Fraser (East End Arrows), Jamie McNair (Seaforth Club), Jim McNair (Seaforth Club), Robbie Cooper (Raigmore), Lesley Dawson (Keppoch Belles)

Inter County Championship success

Highland had a brilliant victory away to Angus in the Darts Corner SDA Inter County Championship.

The North players defeated Angus 19–5 overall with 14–2 victory in the men's match and a 5–3 win in the ladies game.

The match was played in Arbroath and Highland smoked their opponents with a fantastic team performance which included player of the match performances by Steve Mitchell (83.76) and Olive Byamukama (58.82). Olive’s great average also gave her the top ladies' set of the match.

Highland’s James Fraser hit his second 160 checkout of the season which still leads the way in this year’s Scottish Championship.

The results have leap-frogged the men's team into second position and the ladies into third while Highland lie second in the Accumulative Table.

Grampian finished their season totally undefeated, winning all five matches in both the men's and ladies sections, and are the champions elect in all three league competitions – men's, ladies and accumulative.

There will be an open competition with over £500 in prize money, involving singles and doubles, at the Keppoch Inn on April 2 starting at 1pm.
