Winning pairs bowl over rivals under the floodlights at Fraser Park in Inverness

NAIRN bowlers came out on top at the Fraser Park Floodlight Pairs in Inverness.

Nairn Bowling Club won the men’s pairs with brothers Hugh and Fraser MacBean.

Meanwhile, in the ladies competition it was mother and daughter Alex and Charlotte McInnes who came out on top to lift the trophy.

Charlotte becomes the youngest lady to win the competition at the age of 14.

The duo won the competition for the first time after taking part three times previously.

They finally won the tournament after they had finished runner-up in the other two years they took part.
