Winners on target at shooting club championships in Inverness

Target Technique Air rifle and Pistol held their first annual club Championships in Inverness last Saturday.

In the 60 shot Standing discipline Adam Kubiak gave an outstanding performance and beat his personal best by 25 points, chasing the winner, Jon Laing within one point all the way to the end of a 60 shot match.

Owen Goodfellow shooting on a German supported spring (veterans & disabled) won the discipline with Denise Stewart-Thomson in second.

Samara Robinson (16) won the junior 40 shot match and shot 60 shots with a score that qualified her in sixth place amongst the over 21s in the top eight final.

Onya Beaton (16) came second in the under 21s having taken up the sport for her Duke Of Edinburgh award. Debbie Bexley (12) won the under 14s.
