WINGER Lewis Mackenzie has agreed a new deal which will keep him at Clachnacuddin until 2026.

The 21-year-old put pen to paper to agree a new two-year-deal with the Lilywhites.

Mackenzie first joined Clach aged 17 and playing for the under-20's squad before establishing himself in the first team.

Speaking on Clachnacuddin's social media, Mackenzie says he is enjoying working under new manager Conor Gethins who he credits as developing his game.

He said: "Since Conor has come in he has gave me a new found confidence and a platform to express myself, I don't think there is anyone better to learn from than him, i feel like I am just getting started and have plenty more to offer "

Gethins was delighted to secure Mackenzie's future at the club.

He said: "I think we have managed to secure one of the most dangerous players in the league with what he manages to bring to the team.

"His willingness to learn and listen is next to none, I can see similarities between him and myself as players when I was younger, the main focus now is to finish the season strongly and find some consistency."
