Welsh signs on as Robertson boosts options

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have made experienced midfielder Sean Welsh their sixth summer signing.

The former Partick Thistle star, who made over 100 appearances for the Jags, has made the switch to the Highlands after a short spell with Falkirk.

Manager John Robertson spoke of his delight at the signing and believes Welsh can play a crucial role as Caley look to secure a return to the Premiership.

"We are absolutely delighted to have got Sean on board and added him to the squad," he said.
