Clachnacuddin manager Bobby Beckwith says his team will need to win every game this season if they are to have a chance of winning the Highlands and Islands League.

The Lilywhites won the first-ever city league derby defeating Inverness Caledonian Thistle Development 4–2 at Grant Street Park.

Both teams are level on nine points behind leaders Lewis and Harris who have four wins out of four and are heavy favourites to win the league.

But Clach are ahead of ICT Development with a superior goal difference.

Beckwith says they have to win against the Western Isles outfit in August.

But if they are to lift the league trophy at the end of the season, he feels they also need maximum points from their final 10 games.

“The only game Lewis and Harris will lose is when we go there," Beckwith said.

"We have to stay ahead and determined and hopefully beat them at their ground.”
