STRATHPEFFER cyclist Fin Graham celebrated winning two track world titles in two days at the UCI Para-Cycling Track World Championships in France.

The 23-year-old claimed gold in the men’s C3 scratch race final on Thursday when he took control and led from the front for the majority of the 60-lap race.

On Friday, he claimed his second world title of the competition in the men's C3 individual pursuit when he rode 4000 metres in a time of three minutes and 24.596 seconds.

After becoming men's C3 category road world champion in August, Graham says it was an unbelievable feeling to claim two world titles in the space of two days in the velodrome.

"It is an amazing way to end the year," said Graham.

"Two world titles and still got the kilo to go, I am happy to win the pursuit at the world championships, it has been a big target for a couple of years and to do it means so much."

Graham won two silver medals at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo last year.

He said missing out on gold in Japan pushed him to improve his performances and he says the results are now showing.

"There has been a massive improvement in my performance, that year we had with Covid, I made the most of that and I got stronger on the bike and got quicker and I was able to go to Tokyo.

"Having that year made all the difference and since coming back from Tokyo, I wanted to make the difference to get the gold having missed out on it at the games.

"I worked so hard this year and it is nice it has paid off and the results are showing."
