Inverness Caledonian Thistle are Hampden-bound after defeating Kilmarnock 2–1 in the Scottish Cup quarter final.

While the three other teams to reach the semi finals will be decided in the coming days, the Caley Jags know that they will be part of the final four line-up at the national stadium next month.

For some, it will be a chance to revisit career highlights – both at Hampden and in the Scottish Cup. For others, it will be a first chance to make an impact on the biggest stage Scotland has to offer.

Included in that latter category is Roddy MacGregor, who was an unused substitute the last time Caley Thistle made it to Hampden in 2019.

Having made his long-awaited return from injury against Killie, he can now look forward to competing for the chance to finally run out on to the pitch there – see what he had to say about ICT's quarter final triumph, the semi finals and his long road back to fitness below.
