The Glasgow giants ' media team filmed a short movie Clash of the Cousins to preview Sunday's Scottish Gas Scottish Cup match against Jags.

They invited Peters to meet his cousin, Celtic centre back Stephen Welsh who could play in direct opposition to him in the fourth round tie.

Peters was then taken to the corner of Celtic Park where up to 5000 Buckie fans will congregate and cheers the Highland League side on in the David versus Goliath clash.

"I didn't realise it was that big an area of the stadium," Peters said, looking up at the section which Jags supporters will aim to fill.

"What a day for Buckie Thistle fans it will be."

Welsh, who celebrates his 24th birthday today, said that if he is selected to play for Celtic, it will be his job to stop Buckie - and his cousin - from scoring.

"It's a great occasion for the family and we are really looking forward to it," he said.

"It should be a good atmosphere."

Welsh's last two matches he played at Celtic Park were both victories in front of capacity crowds with a full-on atmosphere.

He helped Celtic to beat Feyenoord 2-1 in their final Champins League group match on December 13.

Then, 17 days later he was part of the Celts team which defeated arch rivals Rangers, also by a 2-1 scoreline, to consolidate their position at the top of the Premiership.
