Village club marks 150 years of bowls

Beauly Bowling Club marked over a century and a half of being an important part of the community as they rolled out the red carpet to celebrate its landmark year.

The club celebrated its 150th anniversary by inviting players from across the Highlands to take part in a special tournament.

An exhibition was also organised when players and visitors were given the chance to look of old photographs of the club.

The winning rink at the tournament was the team of John Surtees from Muir of Ord along with Angus Shearer from Waterloo, Raymond MacDonald from Fraser Park and Danny McCormack from Beauly.
