Irvine (29) who plays for German 2.Bundesliga team St Pauli, arrived on loan at Ross County from Celtic in 2014.

One year later, Ross County signed Irvine on a two-year permanent deal from Celtic for a development fee.

He left County in 2016 when he signed for Burton Albion, who were playing in the English Championship, in 15 July 2016 for a reported fee of £330,000.

Irvine then went on to play for Hibernian and Hull City before moving to Hamburg to sign for St Pauli in 2021.

Defender Harry Souttar, currently at Stoke City, played on at loan at Ross County in January 2018 until the end of the season.

He played 13 times for the Staggies but was unable to help them avoid relegation to the Scottish Championship.
