THE first ever shinty-hurling match involving teams from the armed forces of Britain and Ireland is set to be held in Inverness tomorrow.

The 5.30pm kick-off at Bught Stadium is designed to allow shinty fans to watch their club side before cheering on these players.

Fraser MacKenzie, former Scotland manager and current Glenurquhart co-manager, will take charge of The SCOTS Camanachd side for the match, sponsored by Poppyscotland.

The hosts lost 2-1 to Strathglass in a midweek warm-up match.
