Ross Sutherland held out for a narrow 29-22 victory over Aberdeen Grammar 2XV last Saturday.

Going down to the wire may have brought on flashbacks of the previous week, where three yellow cards cost the Stags as Deeside salvaged a draw.

But on this occasion Ross Sutherland kept their discipline to secure the win.

John Mann was happy to have seen the game out, but expected a different Stags side to take to the field with their Murrayfield date now less than two weeks away.
