CALEY Thistle have made their second acquisition of the summer after signing Gregory Tade on a one-year pre-contract deal.

The forward left First Division side Raith Rovers at the end of last season, but is still contracted to the Kirkcaldy club until the end of the month.

Tade, who was rumoured to be interesting other Scottish Premier League clubs including Hibernian, Dunfermline, St Mirren and St Johnstone, has signed for Inverness for 12 months with the option of another year.

The 24-year-old has been a long-term target for Caley Thistle manager Terry Butcher having impressed against the Highland Capital club for Raith when the two teams were in the First Division in season 2009/10.

Tade scored 17 goals in two season's for Raith after the Frenchman joined the club in 2009.

The arrival of Tade is the second signing Caley Thistle have made pre-season after agreeing a one-year deal last week to sign former Stockport County midfielder Greg Tansey.
