Inverness Caledonian Thistle have officially unveiled Shane Sutherland after the striker signed a pre-contract agreement.
The 29-year-old had agreed to move back to the Highland capital in January, but saw the season out with Elgin City before completing the move as of July 1.
Sutherland was previously at the Caledonian Stadium between 2009 and 2013, when he was released by then-manager Terry Butcher.
His new boss John Robertson has been a long-term admirer though, as he tried to sign Sutherland in January 2019 only to find the Wick-born forward had already agreed a deal with Peterhead.
Robertson has finally got his man though, and believes Sutherland will be a valuable addition to the squad.
"I have watched Shane a number of times over the last 12 months and he really has matured into an excellent forward," Robertson told ICT's website.
"He will really benefit from full-time training and his attitude and desire to come back to Inverness is exactly what we are looking for.
“He is a local and he knows what the club is all about and what it means to the fans. I’m sure he will do very well for us and I’m excited to see him alongside our forward line.”
