The 18-year-old, from Ardersier, joined the league champions after leaving Inverness Caledonian Thistle and has impressed in his short time at the club so far.

The defender says Brora Rangers have what it takes to move up a division and is eager to play a part in helping them achieve that dream.

“I have ambitions of playing as high as I can within the game and I feel I can achieve that with Brora,” he said.

“I think they were unfortunate not to be promoted last year.

“But I believe we have a squad good enough over the next couple of years we can get into the Scottish leagues as that is where we deserve to be.

“If we perform to the standard we are capable of, we have every chance.

“But it won’t just happen for us.

“We need to keep working hard and making sure we are doing the right things on the park and right things in training and then things will work for us.”

Gamble, who came through the Caley Thistle youth system before being released in the summer, has been impressed with the professional attitude Brora have, despite playing in a semi-professional division.

After discussing terms with manager Steven Mackay, he said moving to Brora Rangers was the right decision for his football career and is looking forward to the challenge when the league season starts.

“When the manager first contacted me I had a chat and right away he explained the vision and ambition of the club,” he said.

“It was something that I wanted to be a part of. I worked hard through lockdown so whatever club I ended up at I wanted to hit the ground running.

“From the first day I’ve been made welcome and this is where I want to develop as a footballer. “
