Billy Mckay says Inverness Caley Thistle have to show quickly they are a better team than the one which suffered a 4-0 defeat against Greenock Morton.
In their heaviest league defeat of the season, Inverness missed the chance to move top of the Championship and dropped to fourth place.
Mckay admitted Inverness were not good enough at either end of the pitch and says they need to sort things out quickly as they have now gone three matches without a win.
"We have come off the back of winning five in a row, so we need to look back at what we did well in that period.
"We have not won in a few games, but a run takes us back in it again. So we need to dust ourselves off and go against next weekend.
"Everyone is beating everyone which is good for us just now, where you go through runs like this you don't seem far away from it.
"We need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.
"As players we want to get back on the pitch and show we are better than that and will look to do that on Saturday."
Mckay admitted their own mistakes cost them dearly at Cappielow on Friday night.
"It was a weird game as we started positive and then we found ourselves 1-0 down," he said.
"We gave away a stupid penalty and then tried to get back into it and then conceded at half time and it was game over.
"We came out in the second half and weren't ruthless enough.
"They score a fourth and it wasn't a great night. In both boxes we weren't ruthless enough."
