Stewart inspires Scotland to victory

Inverness boxer George Stewart continued his impressive reputation in the ring after claiming victory for Scotland in an international match in Dundee.

The teenager was called up for his country to take on Wales when he won his bout against Danial Sidererenko over three rounds on Saturday night.

The Inverness City Boxing Club athlete was under pressure after Scotland had lost their first two bouts.

But Stewart attacked from the bell where he connected with solid body shots to keep his opponent on the back foot.
