Ross County have made a late signing on deadline day, bringing English right back Michee Efete to Dingwall on a permanent deal until the end of the season.

He would not make a senior appearance for The Canaries, spending time out on loan at Icelandic Premier Division side Breiðablik and Torquay United before signing for Maidstone United.

There he would go out on another two loans, to Bath City and Billericay Town, before spending two years at Wealdstone.

Most recently Efete was at English League Two outfit Grimsby Town, where he would make 97 appearances across two and-a-half seasons in all competitions, scoring seven goals.

Efete was also named in the 2022/23 FA Cup team of the tournament.

He was County’s sixth signing of the transfer window as manager Derek Adams set about overhauling his squad.

The Staggies boss had previously made six loan signings in the transfer window, starting with goalkeeper George Wickens and midfielders Brandon Khela and Eli King.

Those arrivals were then followed up with defensive recruitments, with left back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and centre back Loic Ayina each making temporary moves to Dingwall.

Finally, having lost Scott Allardice to injury Adams decided to bring in one more midfielder in the form of former Aberdeen man Teddy Jenks.
