ROSS County has frozen its season ticket prices for next season — including giving allowing under-12s to have them for free.

The First Division club will absorb the 2.5 per cent VAT increase, as well as continuing to offer children aged 12 to 15 season tickets for just £20.

Staggies fans are also being given the opportunity to make payments in four installments, plus early bird offers are available including getting a ticket to the first cup game of the season at Victoria Park for free and a 10 per cent discount voucher at the club shop for anyone purchasing by the 9th July.

"There’s a real feel good factor at the club at the moment," said County’s head of administration, Ranald Gilbert.

"We finished the season in excellent form with three wins from our last three matches; key players such as Iain Vigurs, Johnny Flynn and Stuart Kettlewell have signed contract extensions and we’ve added more strength to the squad with Colin McMenamin and Grant Munro joining us.

"Add to that Derek Adams’s return as manager and I think it promises to be an exciting season for all Staggies fans.

"It’s always an easy option for football clubs to up their prices to try and raise a bit of extra cash but with prices rising everywhere — especially food and petrol — I think it shows that we appreciate our supporters.

"Of course it works both ways as by making it affordable for fans to come to matches we help to ensure the team can continue to benefit from the fantastic support we’ve had in recent years."

Every season ticket offers a minimum of five free games over the course of the campaign.
