ROSS County aim to complete a top-three away day when they finish their Ladbrokes Premiership in Aberdeen this Sunday.

The Staggies, who last night (Wednesday) lost 3-1 at home to Motherwell to miss out on fifth spot, have earned 1-1 draws away to champions Celtic and, on Saturday, against Hearts at Tynecastle.

The Dons, who have finished the season as runners-up for a second year in succession, could beat their points tally of 75 points – if they beat Hearts tonight then win against County.

The Dingwall side beat Aberdeen 2-0 at home in October, but lost 3-2 at the same venue in January either side of a 3-1 loss at Pittodrie when they led 1-0 at half-time.

County manager Jim McIntyre said: "Aberdeen have had a fantastic season. They are also looking to beat last season’s points tally, so we know how difficult it is any time we go to Pittodrie.

"We played particularly well there last time (3-1 defeat) in the first half especially.

"From our point of view, we’ve been to Celtic Park and Hearts in our last two away games and got two great points, so we will take confidence from those games.

"We will need a similar performance against Aberdeen because they have good players."
