Caley Thistle Women have one final chance to make it into the top half of the SWF Championship table before it splits for the final stage of the season.

Poor form since the turn of the year has seen hopes of a promotion play-off spot give way to a battle to finish in the top four.

It will come down to Inverness and Renfrew for the final spot, and with two points between the clubs going into this weekend the fixture list is kind in one respect to the Caley Jags.

Renfrew travel to Ayr United, currently occupying second in the standings and the play-off spot that comes with it, on Sunday.

Meanwhile, ICT travel to Edinburgh to take on bottom of the table Hutchison Vale – who last weekend lost 14-2 to East Fife.

With Renfrew boasting an only slightly better goal difference, then, Inverness should be well placed to take advantage of any slip-up and move into the top half.

In the Highlands and Islands League this weekend, Clachnacuddin have the unenviable task of trying to be the first side to take points off of Sutherland this season.

Nairn St Ninian will hope to build on last week’s draw with Ross County when they travel to Orkney.

Elsewhere, Caithness travel to Alness to take on County, and Ross and Cromarty make the trip through to Buckie.

The group stage for the Highlands and Islands League has also been drawn, with Clach in Group One alongside Caithness and Orkney. Nairn are in Group Two with Sutherland, Buckie and Ross and Cromarty.
