MASTERS winner Charl Schwartzel and reigning Open champion Louis Oosthuizen have both confirmed their attendance at July's Barclays Scottish Open.

The South African pairing are just the latest high profile names to commit to the event, which this year will take place at the Castle Stuart Golf Links between 7-10th July.

Schwartzel (26) became the third South African to wear the much coveted Green Jacket after he birdied the last four holes to emerge as a surprise winner of last month's Masters at Augusta.

Oosthuizen will use the Scottish Open to prepare for the defence of the Claret Jug he won so convincingly last year when the 28-year-old triumphed at St Andrews.

Current US Open champion Graeme McDowell, Padraig Harrington, Phil Mickelson and Edoardo Molinari, who won the Scottish Open at Loch Lomond last year, are all expected to be at Castle Stuart and organisers hope to announce more big names in the near future.
