Social Club lift Pattison Cup for their second trophy of the season

Invergordon Social Club scooped their second trophy of the season in the Ross-shire Welfare League when they beat Balintore 1-0 in the Pattison Cup final.

In a close tie Harry McCartney scored the only goal as Social Club lifted the 122-year-old trophy for the first time in 12 years.

Invergordon manager Robert Mitchell was delighted to win.

"It was a very competitive game, there wasn’t much between the teams. We are delighted to win the Pattison Cup, I’m really happy for the players, it is the cup everyone wants to win – it’s the big one."
