Shinty's Single Team Cup – for clubs with only one team in the area leagues of shinty – has been drawn for 2022.

Camanachd Association president Steven MacKenzie conducted the draw, which sees teams split into north and south sections until the final.

Last year's competition saw Col-Glen go up against Glengarry, with the former lifting the trophy on their way to promotion to the National Division – meaning they are not in the draw to defend their crown.

“This was an exciting competition last year and it is certainly looking like another entertaining year for the teams involved," Mackenzie said.

"This competition offers a chance for teams who might not particularly have a lot of depth to compete against similar sized clubs and gives these teams something realistic to aspire to.

"If you look at last year’s final, both Col-Glen and Glengarry were very passionate about the competition and indeed Col-Glen were able to use it as a stepping stone and secure Mowi National Division shinty by winning South Division One. Best of luck to all of the teams involved.”

Round one is due to take place on April 15, with the quarter finals scheduled for May 13.

The semi final is set for June 17, before culminating with the final on July 15.
