LOVAT will aim to keep their hopes of winning the Premiership alive when they welcome champions Kingussie to Balgate tomorrow afternoon.

After a poor start to the campaign, the Kiltarlity outfit did manage a turnaround as the season progressed as they have managed to surge up to third place in the Premiership.

But they will be looking to bounce back after poor results in the last two weeks.

They were knocked out of the Macaulay Cup quarter finals last week after a heavy 4-0 defeat at Kinlochshiel.

The previous week, they threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Caberfeidh at Balgate.

Kingussie are favourites to retain the Premiership title as despite being two points behind Newtonmore, they have three games in hand.

Kingussie progressed to the semi finals of the Macaulay Cup after beating leaders Newtonmore on a penalty shoot-out last week.

Elsewhere in the Premiership tomorrow afternoon, Beauly will look for a vital victory to move further away from the relegation zone when they head to an in-form Kinlochshiel.

After an impressive start to the season, Beauly now find themselves in seventh place and only two points above Kyles Athletic in ninth in the drop zone.

But victory in Wester Ross could move Beauly up to fifth place in the table if other results go their way.

Caberfeidh will look to keep their slim hopes of a title challenge alive when they welcome relegation threatened Kyles Athletic to Castle Leod.

The Strathpeffer outfit are in fourth place and only five points off leaders Newtonmore.

But they face an Athletic team who are desperate for points to climb out of the bottom two of the table.

Celtic Cup winners Oban Camanachd are also in action when they are scheduled to face Skye.

League leaders Newtonmore and bottom of the table Glasgow Mid-Argyll are not in action.
