INVERNESS Shinty Club were among the winners at the 2022 MOWI Awards.
The end of season awards ceremony recognised the achievements of clubs across the country during 2022.
Inverness Shinty Club won two awards at the ceremony which was held in Fort William.
The club received the Gary Innes Award for Club of The Year for Youth Development which was collected by Drew McNeil.
Club coach Graham MacKay also received the Service to Women's Shinty Award.
There was also success for Beauly Shinty Club who received two awards.
The Braeview outfit, who won promotion to the Premiership for the first time this season, won the community club of the year.
Finlay “Stork” MacLennan was named Under-17 Player of the Year.
Glengarry Shinty Club also walked away with two awards.
As well as receiving a club development award, Finlay Fraser was named North Area Leagues Player of the Year.
Sheena MacKenzie from Strathglass Shinty Club was also recognised when she received the Services to Womens Shinty Award.
Kingussie won all four senior trophies this season and inevitably took home the major awards from the ceremony.
John Gibson, who is standing down from his position, was named Premiership/National Coach of the Year.
Kingussie’s Roddy Young was named Premiership/National Player of the Year.
Cally McNaughton from Col-Glen Shinty Club was named South Area Leagues player of the year.
Jeanette McGregor of Badenoch Ladies Shinty Club won National Player of the year
Lexie MacKenzie from Kinlochshiel Shinty Club was named Division Two player of the year.
