The 21-year-old striker joined the Staggies for an undisclosed fee on Wednesday, making his debut off the bench against Hearts later that night.

Shaw had struggled for regular game time at Hibs after breaking into the first team in 2017, but he is ready to start scoring again.

“It has been a frustrating 11 or 12 months at Hibs with not playing,” Shaw admitted.

“I haven’t started a game since last February, so when this opportunity came up here to play football and get a fresh start, I was going to grasp it with both hands.

“Ross County came up, I spoke to the managers and the chairman here, and everything seemed good.

“They really wanted me, they told me how I would fit in, and it was something I couldn’t turn down.

“I’m coming here to play games, hopefully score goals and help the team.”
